Who is responsible

Everything Panama, based in Panama City, Panama, is the data controller. You can reach us about anything in this policy at info@everythingpanama.com or on WhatsApp at +507 6645 6736.

What we collect

Only what you type into the contact form: your name, your email address or phone number, the language you want a reply in, when you are planning to move, which services you ticked, and anything you write in the message box.

If you contact us by WhatsApp or email instead, we hold whatever that message contains.

Our host records standard server logs, including IP addresses, for security and to keep the site running. We do not use those logs to identify individuals.

No cookies and no tracking

This site sets no cookies. It uses no analytics, no advertising pixels, no session recording and no third-party trackers. Nothing is stored on your device and nothing follows you to other websites.

Typefaces are served from our own domain rather than from Google Fonts, so loading a page does not reveal your IP address to any third party.

Why we use it, and on what basis

We use your details for one purpose: to answer you and, where relevant, to introduce you to a professional who can handle what you asked about. We do not sell data, we do not rent it, and we do not add you to a marketing list.

Our legal basis is your consent, given when you choose to send us the form or message. Under the GDPR we also rely on the steps necessary to respond to your request before entering a contract.

Who we share it with

When your enquiry needs a lawyer, banker, broker, agent or clinic, we pass your details to the specific professional relevant to it, so they can help you. We tell you who that is. They are independent businesses and become responsible for the data they hold about you under their own privacy terms.

We also rely on service providers who process data on our behalf: our website host, and our form provider if one is configured. They act on our instructions.

We do not disclose your data to anyone else, unless the law requires it.

Where your data goes

Our host and form provider operate servers outside Panama, including in the United States and the European Union. Where data leaves the EU we rely on the safeguards those providers put in place, such as the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry correspondence for as long as needed to help you, and for up to two years afterwards so we can pick up a conversation where it left off. After that we delete it. You can ask us to delete it sooner at any time.

Your rights

Under Panamanian law you have the ARCO rights: access to your data, rectification of anything wrong, cancellation, and opposition to how it is used, together with the right to portability. We must respond within ten working days.

If you are in the European Union you also have the GDPR rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, objection, and the right to withdraw consent at any time without affecting what was done before you withdrew it.

To exercise any of these, email info@everythingpanama.com. We may ask you to confirm your identity first.

If you want to complain

In Panama you may complain to the Autoridad Nacional de Transparencia y Acceso a la Información (ANTAI), the authority that supervises Law 81. In the European Union you may complain to the data protection authority in the country where you live. We would rather you told us first, so we can put it right.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS. We limit who can see enquiries to the three of us and the professional handling your case. No system is perfect, and if a breach affects your data we will notify you and the relevant authority as the law requires.

Children

This site is for adults. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has sent us information, tell us and we will delete it.

Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top. Material changes will be announced on this page.
